About :
The 2012 Spanish mystery thriller film 'The Body' must have had something special that caught the attention of filmmakers internationally. The film has so far been made in Kannada, Tamil and Korean languages, while preparations are on to make it in English. But its Hindi remake, which released with the same name in theaters on Friday, fails to create the same magic. Director Jeetu Joseph, who made a great suspense film like 'Drishyam' in South, was expected to make a good crime thriller film from this first Hindi film, but he has failed to do so.

In the film, the body of a rich businesswoman Maya Verma (Shobhita Dhulipala) suddenly disappears from the morgue, which is investigated by SP Jairaj Rawal (Rishi Kapoor). Suspicion points towards Maya's husband Ajay Puri (Emraan Hashmi), who is having an extramarital affair with one of his students, Ritu (Vedika). But during the investigation something happens that Ajay thinks that Maya is alive and she is trying to trap him. Now to know what is the truth, the film has to be seen.
